i was so proud of Braden's reading from the bible. he did great!

Mrs. Kirby was such a wonderful teacher! I am so happy Braden was blessed to be her student! He learned so much this year. He was put in the Accelerated Reading Program in December with only 2 other students. He can do multiplication and division because he wanted Brit and I to teach him. I hope his excitement to learn carries him all the way through his school years.

This was by far the very best birthday party Braden has ever had. The karate place did a fantastic job with all the kids and they had a blast. It will be hard to top this one! I cannot believe my little boy is 6 and will be starting 1st grade this fall. I am so proud of him and the acheivements he has thus far. I love him more and more each day.

sprinkler fun

the kids had so much fun playing on the trampoline with the sprinkler! the trampoline gets so hot in the summer so this was a perfect way for the kids to enjoy it without getting too hot. braden was so funny...he kept running in circles and sliding on it. i love watching them play together! this will definitely happen again this summer.

Braves vs. Astros

Braves won 4-2

brit got dugout seat for friday's game and took braden. braden was so happy to go to the game with daddy!! they had wonderful seats (very close to homeplate). braden was able to watch the players hit really well. they stayed for the fireworks!! they did not get home until 12:30 (due to construction on the roads) but it was a great night for my boys!!

school field trip

braden had a great time on his field trip to study birds. they were able to feed the ducks and go on a nature hike. before we left, the kids had a blast playing on the playground.
i cannot believe his first year of school is almost over. he has made some great friends this year.
