Our garden

we were so successful with our garden this year. the thing that grew the most was our watermelon. we probably had 10 huge watermelons this year!! it was great since this is Ansley's favorite fruit. hopefully we will have many more years of watermelons.

so Ansley discovered the fun of the 4-wheeler. she has so much fun on it and Braden LOVES riding with her. i could watch them all day together. they have such a special bond.

my days are filled with so much joy when i see Braden and Ansley together. they are becoming the best of friends. even though there is a 4 year age gap, they find stuff to do together. i am amazed at how patient and kind braden is with her. he will sit and watch "baby" shows with her because he wants to be with her. if she is crying, he will run put one of her favorite shows on to cheer her up. i love these kids so much!

Braden loves to make up silly jumps

this has been one of the hottest summers i can remember. if we are not inside, we are at the pool. it is just too hot to spend any amount of time outside unless we are at the pool. that is just fine with my kids. they love the pool more than anything. ansley got her new puddle jumpers which makes her so happy and gives her more independance in the pool. she even jumps off the diving board with braden. she is not of afraid just like braden was at this age.
