June 28, 2009 a day I will always remember...

Our little boy Braden was baptized tonight at First Baptist Church of Woodstock. It was so amazing to see my child born again. He was so brave and so excited. We were so surprised when we got back down to the santiuary and saw uncle pop and mamaw. They drove 4 hours from North Carolina to see Braden get baptized. That was so special. Braden was so excited to see them. We went to eat ice cream at Rita's, then they came back to the house to grill hamburgers and play. It was a wonderful night.

9 month Dr's appt

I had to post this picture, since Ansley rarely has a sad face.

Ansley had her 9 month dr's appointment this past week and she is doing fantastic. She weighs

19.5 lbs and is 28.5 inches that put her in the 65% for weight and 80% for height. She can now stand for 10 seconds or more by herself, not holding on to anything!! She is still babbling all the time. The DR was very pleased that she has hit every milestone and some that she isn't suppose to hit for another month or so. I am so proud of my little girl.

Father's Day trip to Michigan 2009

We had an amazing time in Detriot with family and friends. We woke up at 4:15 on Saturday to catch an 8:00 flight. The kids were wonderful. Ansley slept on the plane and Braden had fun with his Leapster games and doddle pad. We were so lucky to be able to stay with Brit's life long friend Matt and his wife Megan. We were so excited to meet their little boy Christopher who is 5 months old. He is a cutie.

We went to Aunt Jenny's and Uncle Kevin's house that afternoon so Braden could meet all of his cousins. We had an incredible time with all of them. We grilled out hamburgers and hot dogs & watched the kids play baseball and freeze tag in the backyard. Braden came up to me and said, "can we come here everyday so I can see my cousins?". It was so bittersweet because I wish we could see them all the time and Braden could be with his cousins.

Father's Day was spent at Comerica Park (home of the Tigers). Papa and Grandma got wonderful seats at the game and it was so great to see the stadium. Braden was so excited to watch the game and sat in his seat the entire game. We did however also enjoy ordering food and drinks from the vendors going up and down the aisle. He ordered himself a hot dog and an ice cold lemonade (thank you papa)!!

All and all it was a wonderful trip, full of wonderful memories.

9 months...

Can you believe it...Ms. Ansley is already 9 months old. She is doing so good. The doctor could not believe how well she is doing with all of her milestones. She is pulling up, clapping (loud), babbling (says night night), picks up cherrios and feeds herself, and the list goes on. She had a great doctors appointment yesterday. She weighs 19.6 lbs (60%) and is 28.5" long (80%). She is cutting 4 teeth right now (poor girl) and already has 3 teeth. She is really wanting to eat big girl food, she is tired of the mushy stuff. She is such a sweet girl and we love her so much. I can't believe she will be 1 in 3 months...time flies.
