We had an amazing time in Detriot with family and friends. We woke up at 4:15 on Saturday to catch an 8:00 flight. The kids were wonderful. Ansley slept on the plane and Braden had fun with his Leapster games and doddle pad. We were so lucky to be able to stay with Brit's life long friend Matt and his wife Megan. We were so excited to meet their little boy Christopher who is 5 months old. He is a cutie. We went to Aunt Jenny's and Uncle Kevin's house that afternoon so Braden could meet all of his cousins. We had an incredible time with all of them. We grilled out hamburgers and hot dogs & watched the kids play baseball and freeze tag in the backyard. Braden came up to me and said, "can we come here everyday so I can see my cousins?". It was so bittersweet because I wish we could see them all the time and Braden could be with his cousins.
Father's Day was spent at Comerica Park (home of the Tigers). Papa and Grandma got wonderful seats at the game and it was so great to see the stadium. Braden was so excited to watch the game and sat in his seat the entire game. We did however also enjoy ordering food and drinks from the vendors going up and down the aisle. He ordered himself a hot dog and an ice cold lemonade (thank you papa)!!
All and all it was a wonderful trip, full of wonderful memories.
