we had a wonderful 4th of July this year. we celebrated on the 3rd with some friends in the neighborhood. we went to their house for a shrimp boil and stayed most of the night. therefore, our 4th was alittle more low key and early. we light some fireworks and sparklers before it got dark because the kids were so tired from being up the night before. they did not care at all and were so excited to see the fireworks. next year we might venture out and see some big ones but this year it was better to hang around the house and that was just fine for everyone!
