Favorite Photo Friday

This was the very first night with sweet Ansley. It had been an exhausting day both physically and emotionally. We were so excited to finally have her in our arms. Braden was getting ready for bed in our hotel room (we brought his pillowcase from home since we would be gone so long) but he didn't want to because he wanted to keep holding Ansley. We told him if he got in bed we would put her beside him. He was just overwhelmed with joy having his baby sister in his arms. This started a routine that continues to be special. We put Ansley in his bed every night for books and prayer time. He absolutely loves it. Sometimes when we ask him what his favorite part of the day was, he says "right now, holding Ansley". He loves her so much and is the greatest big brother in the world.

Favorite Photo Friday

This photo is one of my all time favorite pictures of Braden. He is 5 and half months old and just precious. Brit was in the backyard raking up all the leaves when we decided to get Braden out there in it. I can't believe it has been 4 years ago. This started a tradition of getting a " pumkin picture" of him every year since that day. Here he is growing up...

iHeartFaces

Well, this is my first entry to I ♥ Faces. This week's theme is black and white. I just took this picture of my little one rolling in the sheets and it captured her excitement of it all. Don't forget to head over to www.iheartfaces.blogspot.com for more beautiful pictures.

Rolling in the sheets

The other night we were trying to put fresh sheets on the bed. Ansley thought it was so funny when we would toss the sheets in the air. We put her under the sheet and would lift it up and down. She would laugh every time! I just love the expression on her face.

Let the good time roll...

We went bowling for the first time this weekend and had a blast. Braden was so excited and did very good. We tried to find an orange ball but they were all to heavy so he settled on a red ball. His first game he bowled an 81...he was jumping up and down with excitement. He got a few spares and one strike!!! He could not believe it when he got a strike...he thought he was pretty cool. His highest game was a 96!! They turned the light off halfway through the secound game so everything was glowing in the dark, very cool. Ansley had a great time looking at all the lights and watching Braden scream and shout. It was a fun day.

5 months old

I can't you believe Ansley is now 5 months. She has changed so much and is such a sweet little girl. She is now eating even more baby food. Her favorite is sweet potatos, squash and oatmeal with bananas and apriots. She is eating 2 jars at a time now. She is also sitting up all by herself and rolling over. She is now a tummy sleeper. If we put her down on her back, she rolls over to her tummy. She is babbling all the time and loves to "talk" really loud. Her favorite thing to do is to jump. She likes for Brit and I to toss her in the air as well...she is just like her brother. We are so blessed and can't believe how time is passing by. We can't wait to see what she does next.

Braden's first foods

I was looking back at Braden's first baby food picture and I thought it would be fun to post them. I never had any problems feeding him...as you can see. He always had the biggest cheeks. I miss them.
