Favorite Photo Friday

This was the very first night with sweet Ansley. It had been an exhausting day both physically and emotionally. We were so excited to finally have her in our arms. Braden was getting ready for bed in our hotel room (we brought his pillowcase from home since we would be gone so long) but he didn't want to because he wanted to keep holding Ansley. We told him if he got in bed we would put her beside him. He was just overwhelmed with joy having his baby sister in his arms. This started a routine that continues to be special. We put Ansley in his bed every night for books and prayer time. He absolutely loves it. Sometimes when we ask him what his favorite part of the day was, he says "right now, holding Ansley". He loves her so much and is the greatest big brother in the world.
